The Objectives of the Regional Observatory for Social Inclusion

The Regional Observatory for Social Inclusion of the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace is the official mechanism for monitoring social inclusion at the regional level. Its primary mission is to support the planning and evaluation of social protection policies through the reliable collection, processing, and use of data.

Through its work, it helps identify local social needs, map social care organisations and services, strengthen cooperation with municipalities and Community Centres, and provide reliable information to citizens, professionals, and organisations.

At the same time, through its online portal and awareness-raising activities, it promotes transparency, more effective decision-making, and improved access to social inclusion services throughout the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace.
